Overview
The Farquharson Nature Reserve is located within the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere and designated as a Niagara Escarpment Park.
The property includes a valley with many small watercourses including waterfalls during high water periods.
History
This is a 103-acre reserve we received in 2007.
Significant Features
The Farquharson Reserve is within the boundaries of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. As such it contains many of the unique features of the escarpment including tributaries of the Nottawasaga Watershed. Species such as the Eastern Meadowlark have been seen on this reserve.
