Marilyn Bell Park follows the shoreline of Lake Ontario just west of Exhibition Place. At the age of sixteen, Marilyn Bell became the first person to swim across Lake Ontario from New York State. The park was officially dedicated on August 16, 1984, the 30th anniversary of her swim. A plaque near the park entrance commemorates this historic event. Directions:Marilyn Bell Park can be entered by vehicle only at the west entrance on Lake Shore Boulevard West.
