Gamiing Trails
Overview
Come explore our wetlands and forests at GAMIING. Once an abandoned farm the 50 hectare site was replanted with a few tree species in the 1980s.
Now, natural succession is occurring and we see a huge variety of wildlife, birds, and plants moving in. We have over 7.6km of trails through the forest, wetlands, and along Pigeon Lake.
From the parking lot, one can walk to the trail head, or even explore around before the trailhead, such as the Visitor's Centre "The Discovery Shack".
From the Trailhead (there is a map), there are 4 possibilities:
1. the Lakeview Trail (main trail)
