Overview

This 16-hectare property is situated within one of the largest meanders of the Thames River, a Canadian Heritage River.

A short trail takes hikers from the walnut grove parking lot, along the fishing pond, to the Purple Martin house. Hikers can also access the trail from the parking lot by the bridge over the fishing pond.

Visitors can extend their walk and create a loop by walking along the quiet roads within the conservation area’s camping and picnic areas.
